Donate to Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives and the One Million Abolitionists project!
Over the next few years, FDFI wants to give away one million copies of our special bicentennial edition of the Narrative to students everywhere. Then we'll ask readers to collaborate with fellow students, teachers, and organizations to develop service projects, in their communities and beyond, to address issues related to social injustice and racial equity just like Douglass did after escaping servitude in1838 at the age of twenty.
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO PUBLISH THE NEXT 25,000 COPIES AND MORE!
Giving away one million copies of the Narrative will be a challenge that FDFI can't take on alone. Make a tax-deductible donation directly to FDFI to help fund the One Million Abolitionists project. Our cost to print, distribute and manage the project is $4 per book.
Help us bring 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 books or more to young people all over the country.
To inquire about making a larger contribution of 1,000 books or more for young people in your city, please email Robert Benz at [email protected].
